K&S Scholarship Request Form - Winter Retreat 2026

We use a sliding scale model because we know families experience diverse financial circumstances. Our goal is to minimize financial barriers that might prevent participation in our programs and events. This lets us help families at their current level of need, while allowing us to serve as many families as we can, considering the vision of BelPres Church.

Below is a guide to our sliding scale scholarship offerings to help you determine your financial responsibility for attending events. Please bear in mind that this is a request and someone from the Kids and Students team will follow up with you to discuss your request.

*We define discretionary income as money that covers expenses beyond your basic needs.
**If the cost would still prevent you from participating or if you have questions about this policy, please contact any of our Kids and Students staff.

25% scholarship. Select this option below if you are currently financially comfortable with some worries about finances, have savings, can earn discretionary* income, and afford vacations, etc. we ask that you pay 75% of the event price.

50% scholarship. Select this option below if you currently have a steady income, can afford your necessary expenses, need to be extremely mindful of your spending but with care are able to budget for discretionary* expenses, etc. we ask that you pay 50% of the event price.

75% scholarship. Select this option below if you currently experience stress about finances, paying everyday bills, have debilitating debt, and/or have irregular income, we ask that you pay 25% of the event price.
